ESN FINT ry är Erasmus Student Networks sektion på Tammerfors universitets centrumcampus: en registrerad förening som drivs av studentvolontärer, för utbytesstudenter, internationella examensstudenter och lokala studenter.
ESN FINT stands for Erasmus Student Network Finland International Tampere. We are one of the sections of ESN Finland and part of the Erasmus Student Network, the largest student association in Europe. Our job is simple: make Tampere feel like home for the people who arrive here from somewhere else, and give locals a way into that international community.
The section is run by a board and a team of officers, all students, elected and recruited every year. The board's positions are president, IT and communications, social media and design, events, treasurer, HR, social causes, PR and the Symposium. Officers run the nights, the trips, the language groups and the recycling room alongside them; applications are open all year.
Membership is open to students in the Pirkanmaa region, to interns who are students anywhere, and to Finnish nationals active in the international community. The membership includes the ESNcard, which brings member prices at our own events and trips and student discounts across Europe. The clubroom is room C07b in the basement of the main building on the city-centre campus.
We work with Tampere University, the student union and other student associations, with Timetravels for the trips, and with the ESN network across Finland and Europe. Our postal address is ESN FINT ry, Kalevantie 4, 33014 Tampere University, Finland.
