Who can come to ESN FINT events?

Some of our events are for open for everyone. But, most of our events are for members only (more info here). You can become our member by getting an ESNcard at our clubroom (8€ + a small photo).

When signing up and paying for our events we'll check the membership, so you should bring your ESNcard.

Our event announcements say whether the event is for members-only or open for everyone.

Where can I find information about the events?

On this website you'll find general info and a calendar. The most detailed information is available on Facebook page ESN FINT and our current Facebook group. Also, you can find out about our upcoming events at our clubroom.

How to sign up for events?

Usually we have a signup form that you have to fill in when you pay at our clubroom.

Note that some of our events do not require signing up so check the event announcement.

How to pay for events?

You can pay at our clubroom during clubroom hours listed on the front page.

If you can't come to pay, you can usually also send a friend to do it for you, but note that we only sell a limited amount of tickets per person! (So for example, one can't come to pay for 10 people). This mainly depends on the event and the total amount of spots available. It's best if you ask us about the possibility to pay for a friend. Note that for some popular trips we take only one personal payment per person.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, we accept payments with card and cash.

How do I book Pirates of the Baltic Sea, Lapland or Russia trips?

These trips are organised in co-operation with a travel agency, Timetravels. Booking AND paying is through their website! There you'll also find information about the trips.

Sales to ESN FINT trips open on a certain day, and we'll inform our members about it.

I have an idea about a new event! Can you make it happen?

Contact us and/or come to our clubroom during clubroom hours and share your idea! Usually we provide help and some budget to organise it.

What are the events that ESN FINT usually organizes?

We have many recurring events. Here's something we have been doing earlier (and are planning to do again):

Speedfriending  - a great way for local and international students to meet

Pub Crawl - getting to know which pubs offer student discounts

Museum visits - learning about local culture and history

Game nights - board games, video games - everyone likes to play!

And much more!
