A full Finnish autumn day — from the forest to the sauna!

Ever wanted to experience a proper Finnish autumn day?

Join us for a cozy little adventure combining berry picking, a forest walk, Finnish sauna and cooking together!

We’ll start at TAMK, head into the Finnish forest to look for berries, and later return for an evening at TAMKO’s Solu Sauna, where we’ll cook, relax and enjoy the food together.

THE PLAN

📍 13:00 — Meet at TAMK

We’ll meet outside TAMK and start the day together.

You can leave your sauna stuff in the campus lockers, so you don’t have to carry it through the forest!

Forest adventure

From TAMK, we’ll take public transport together to the forest.

We’ll walk around, explore the Finnish forest and pick some berries together!

17:00–23:30 — Sauna + cooking

After the forest adventure, we’ll head to TAMKO’s Solu Sauna for the evening.

We’ll have plenty of time to:

🍓 Use the berries from our adventure
🫶 Relax and hang out together

🍓 WHAT TO BRING?

🌲 Comfortable clothes and shoes for the forest
🧥 Weather-appropriate clothes
🫐 A container or bag for berries if you have one
🧖‍♀️ Sauna stuff + towel
🥤 Drinks for yourself
🍎 Some snacks for yourself

The day is going to be quite long, and although we’ll make a delicious pie… we probably shouldn’t try to survive the whole day on pie alone.

So bring some snacks and drinks for yourself to keep your energy up throughout the day!
