ESN FINT is a member of the national ESN Finland, which represents the interests of all international students in Finland. ESN Finland negotiates national partnerships, cooperates with other national student organizations, organizes national events, and supports their sections both financially and administratively.

ESN Finland has 17 member sections in 10 different cities: 5 in Helsinki, 3 in Turku, 2 in Tampere, and 1 each in Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lappeenranta, Oulu, Rovaniemi and Vaasa. The other ESN section in Tampere is ESN INTO, which is located on the Hervanta campus.

The sections come together (at least) twice a year during National Assemblies, where decisions regarding the ESN network in Finland are made. In addition, each month a CLR (Council of Local Representatives) is held, where local representatives from each section participate in (usually online) meetings about the state of the network. Occasionally, training events (such as FINsights) are also held for all sections.

ESN Finland has a cooperation agreement with Timetravels, a travel company that organizes the trips of ESN FINT and other sections in the northern regions. In addition, ESN Finland’s National Events Committee (NEvCo) organizes national level events for all sections, such as the biannual Pirates of the Baltic Sea cruise.

ESN Finland, in turn, is a member of the ESN International.
