Being an ESN FINT board member offers you the possibility to work in a truly international association and create a lasting impact for countless international (and local) students in Tampere!
How does it work?
The activities of ESN FINT are organized and coordinated by the board, consisting of board members each with their own area of responsibility. As a board member, you will work with the entire team of ESN FINT to take care of the day-to-day operations of the association, which can be a wide variety of things suited to your interests: organizing events, taking care of the financials, collaborating with other student bodies, designing graphics for social media or forming partnerships with companies.
As we are all volunteers here, you can decide what you want to do and how much time you want to give, although keep in mind that being a board member is still a very responsible task and we are counting on you. The board term typically runs from the 1st of August until the 31st of July.
How to join?
The board is elected in general meetings, which are usually held twice a year in Autumn and Spring. You'll receive an invitation to the meeting at least two weeks beforehand on the ESN FINT mailing list. All members of ESN FINT can come to the meeting and apply for any position, after which there will be an anonymous vote to decide if the applicant is elected. Every member of ESN FINT can vote in a general meeting.
